2013 Vertical Marathon update

What is a Vertical Marathon? It’s Goodleaf’s way of inviting you to have even more fun in the trees and raise money for our local Isle of Wight community at the same time.

Double Gold Winners!

Every climber is invited to take part in return for a small donation of 50p or more. We measure how many climbs you do in a session and award Gold, Silver, Bronze or Goodleaf Green medals depending on how much climbing you’ve done.

At the end of the season we tot all the climbs up, add in all the climbing our staff have done and come up with a grand total.

Did we reach a marathon (42.195 km) in 2013? No…but we weren’t far off at a massive 38.063 km! That’s a fantastic distance and we’re really proud of the distance we climbed and the money we raised.
