Wowser! Super charged 15 year old (who is a Goodleaf regular) climbs 100 vertical metres in a two hour tree climbing session – it’s a record!

The results are in from the World Tree Climbing Championships in Orgeon, USA. Massive congratulations to everyone who took and special well dones to Jo Hedger (UK & NI No1 tree climbing champion). She completed a super speedy Footlock and came first in the Work Climb and 3rd in the Masters. Jo is a brilliant

We know tree climbing is a magical experience, but it’s so lovely to hear other people feel the same way. Thanks to Julie for sending us this beautiful poem about her tree climbing experience. We will be at the Isle of Wight County Show on Saturday 16th June. The newly invigorated show will be featuring a traditional Village Green, petting farm, Field to Fork, plus traditional show events such as carriage driving, show jumping, gun dogs  and falconry displays. It’s free for children under 15, £2.50 for children 15

Move over Matt! Your Rope of Speed record created in Oct 2011 has been smashed by local farmer Christie. Christie made three attempts at beating the previous record. He beat the record on all three tries, but his 3rd attempt was the quickest, coming in at 2 min 57 sec and taking 25 secs off the previous time. Well done Christie!
